The Active Success and Empowerment Initiative (ASEI) is a duly incorporated and registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Nigeria, recognized by all relevant authorities. ASEI is fully committed to the upliftment of humanity through human rights advocacy, poverty eradication, empowerment initiatives, healthcare, environmental support, and public safety and security advocacy.
Founded in 2010, ASEI has been dedicated to human rights advocacy and various social impact-driven initiatives. Since its inception, ASEI has defended over 1,068 underprivileged Nigerians in courts across the country, securing justice for them. Additionally, ASEI has amicably resolved more than 6,800 disputes for citizens and trade unions and secured freedom and government pardons for over 500 awaiting trial or wrongfully sentenced inmates from correctional centers. ASEI has also provided medical and economic support to over 5,000 Nigerians through grants and donations.
In response to Nigeria’s growing public safety and security challenges, ASEI established the ASEI Security Vanguards of Nigeria (ASEVON). ASEVON is a voluntary membership initiative aimed at complementing government efforts and supporting existing security frameworks to protect citizens’ lives and property. It focuses on public awareness, citizen engagement, community policing, intelligence sharing, emergency management supports and reinforcing government efforts to address safety gaps across the country.
